The problem
Every giveaway on Instagram or Threads ends the same way. Hundreds or thousands of comments, a handful of people who commented twenty times, a few accounts that ignored the rules, and an organiser scrolling with their eyes closed trying to stop on someone at random. Then somebody in the replies says it was rigged, and there is no way to prove otherwise.
What Comment Draw does about it
It takes the comments you paste in, cleans them up, applies your rules, and draws a winner. Then it prints the seed it used. Anyone with the same comment list and the same seed lands on exactly the same winner, which means the draw can be checked after the fact instead of just believed.
Your comments never leave your browser
There is no server involved. The parsing, the filtering and the draw all happen on your own device, in the page you are looking at. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and closing the tab erases everything.
How this site is funded
Ads. That is the whole model right now. The tool is free and there is no account to make.
Who runs it
Comment Draw is built and maintained by WGeth, a small software studio based in Indonesia. Most of our work is internal tools and web platforms built for other companies — the kind of software nobody outside those companies ever sees. This site is one of a handful of tools we build on the side, in the open, for anyone to use without an account.
The reason for building it was simple: giveaway drawing is a small, well-defined problem that most existing tools solve badly, either by making you sign up for something, or by giving you no way to prove the draw was fair after the fact. We wanted one page that does the job properly and gets out of the way.
